1. How much have things changed since 1967? Would a marriage between a black and
a white person still be shocking in the United States? What about your country?
2. Matt Drayton wasn’t personally racist, but he was very concerned about how difficult
it would be for John and Joanna, given how many racist people there were in the world;
Is this a legitimate concern? Enough to be opposed to the marriage, on those grounds alone?
3. Is the gay desire to have society accept their marriages today similar to what
