The marriage of computers and television has certainly challenged our traditional life patterns. It comes as no surprise to find out that in many countries, education via computers or television is gaining popularity.

　　With the introduction of computer education, people will have the chance to study at home. Just imagine, no more battling rush-hour traffic, you will have the freedom to choose your subjects and make better arrangements of your time between study and leisure. If you live in a remote area, you will not need to kiss your parents good-bye or shed tears of homesickness, because college education will be at your fingertips.
　　By contrast, conventional school education provides direct contact between students and teachers and between students themselves. Normal academic courses aside, schools offer a variety of leisure activities such as sports, dances or concerts, which promote the learning of social skills. The team spirit cultivated through collective study and play can not be achieved by studying at home.
